Mobile Blinked. Her msg arrived. “m done wid dinner J.” Rohan smiled, he knows this is an indication that she is free to talk, and he talked with her for hours. Rohan use to work hard for whole day and then SMS chat with his beloved, Srishti, was giving him worth of living. It was regular schedule for him, waiting for night to talk with her. Both of them were studying in different domains he was IT guy while she is a 440 watt would be electrical engineer but were miles away from each other.
In this mobile-age, they were emotionally connected to each other by means of technology. SMS, Skype and facebook were the means of sharing between them. Earlier Rohan was casual about his relationship. He always aimed to be Software Developer, but this long-distance was making him more deep and passionate about her. This regular calls and msgs was making him to think of her frequently. This thinking was giving him an extra perspective on what is it he loved about her and why she is important in his life. Srishti wants to stay as a couple and her words were the only one tool that was connecting him. Now, they approach each other more quickly than they were around each other. They have known each other from long and it’s the time to be alone again. Both of them were getting a feel of what life is like without special person. Rohan never gives attention to any of his college girls as he considered Srishti as other side of his world. The couple, who use to fight a lot, learned to trust each other as it was only option left for them. While studying, Srishti was finding her own identity and was becoming more independent. She realized worth of other thing and started focusing on them. Nevertheless, their priorities were changing. Rohan was realizing value of Srishti in his life while Srishti was realizing worth of her career which she always dreamed about.
Finally, the frustration of Rohan reached at his peak and he started performing bad in academics. He want to be more with Srishti. Srishti was not pleased with his decision; she didn’t want Rohan to leave his career for sake of her. Rohan anyhow got his concentration back because of her motivation. However, he was happy in an assessment that he was with his love. He was fulfilling all his expectations which he dreamed to be with her. Meanwhile, Srishti got an opportunity to work on-field in a city far away from their town after campus selection. When she discussed it with Rohan, he got disappointed as she even thought to discuss it. When Rohan opposed her to go, she yelled “I never asked you to leave your career for me, if I m getting a golden opportunity to work on-field you are becoming a hurdle for my successful future.” Rohan was deeply hurt but Srishti didn’t concern it much and left to Pune. She thought Rohan is emotionally entrapped and will later understand the practicality of life. She thought that she will marry Srishti whenever she will be back in town.
She got busy in Pune and was not able to restructure her relation with Rohan. One day, she got Rohan’s mail .
